The Independent Living Skills Program at BSS offers individuals blind and visually impaired the specialized training for personal and home management such as: household cleaning, meal preparation, identifying clothing, shopping, money identification, organizing a budget, paying bills and using modern communications systems including Braille and keyboarding. Tasks include the many ordinary things that sighted persons take for granted.
